About this program

The Regional Innovation Ecosystems (RIE) program provides non-repayable contributions of up to $3 million (with 50% matching funding required) to industry associations, ecosystem organizations, and other not-for-profits in British Columbia. Funded projects support SME growth by advancing commercialization, productivity improvement, market development, ecosystem development, and business acceleration. Priority is given to projects aligned with B.C.'s key economic strengths such as clean tech, digital/AI, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing.
