About this program

NRC IRAP provides Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (up to 500 employees) with customized advisory services, connections, and in some cases non-repayable funding to support the research and development of innovative, technology-driven products and services. Financial support is assessed on a project basis, evaluating technical innovation, business capacity, commercialization potential, and benefits to Canada. Engagement begins with an advisor relationship before any funding consideration.
