About this program

The Tourism Growth Program provides $108 million over 3 years (delivered nationally via Canada's regional development agencies) to support Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities, SMEs, and not-for-profit organizations in developing local tourism products and experiences in the Prairie provinces. Eligible activities focus on business and economic growth in the tourism industry, with priority given to projects supporting Indigenous tourism, rural visitation, active outdoor experiences, and season extension. Contributions are normally repayable for SMEs and non-repayable for not-for-profit organizations. The intake period is currently closed.
