About this program

The Startup Canada Equal Slice Program, presented in partnership with Pizza Hut, hosts two national pitch competitions per year offering equity-deserving Canadian entrepreneurs the chance to compete for a $100,000 cash grant pool, receive expert feedback, and gain visibility within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In 2026, competitions are scheduled for June 3 (in-person, Toronto) and November 24 (virtual national). Applications open March 9 and close when spots are filled.
