About this program

CanExport SMEs provides competitive cost-sharing funding of up to $50,000 to help eligible Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises expand into new international markets. The program covers export-related business development activities to reduce risk and support export diversification. Applications are assessed on a rolling competitive basis; U.S.-targeted projects are no longer being accepted as that funding has been fully allocated.
