About this program

The Saskatchewan Technology Startup Incentive (STSI) offers a 45% tax credit to Saskatchewan-based accredited investors who invest in eligible early-stage tech startups (Eligible Startup Businesses) developing novel innovations in digital, clean, or life sciences technologies. Startups must have fewer than 50 employees, be headquartered in Saskatchewan, and have raised no more than $5 million in equity capital; an individual ESB can raise a maximum of $2 million under the program. The annual program budget is capped at $7 million, with tax credits allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
