About this program

The Innovation Challenge brings Innovation Saskatchewan and public sector partners together to define key challenges and host pitch competitions for Saskatchewan innovators to propose technological solutions. Winners receive a $30,000 grant, a 16-week residency with the public sector partner, and full commercialization rights to develop their technology. The 2026 challenge focuses on applying technology to prevent aquatic invasive species from spreading into Saskatchewan waters, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment.
