About this program

This grant supports youth-led grassroots groups and youth-adult partnerships to pilot a new project idea, research an issue or new concept, or strategize around an issue affecting youth to improve their social and economic wellbeing. YOF prioritizes groups addressing the experiences of Indigenous and/or Black youth facing systemic barriers. Grant recipients also receive capacity building support through specialized coaching and mentorship.
