About this program
The Critical Industrial Technologies (CIT) initiative supports Ontario SMEs to develop new IP and integrate critical technologies — including AI, 5G, blockchain, robotics, cybersecurity, and quantum — across four key sectors: Mining, Advanced Manufacturing (non-auto), Agri-Food, and Construction. The program offers five streams focused on IP development, commercialization, and talent development. It is offered by the Government of Ontario and powered by OCI.
