About this program

The Business Strategy Internship (BSI) program provides funding of $10,000 to $15,000 per intern to undertake a four- to six-month internship project with a Canadian partner organization on innovation-driven challenges. Interns work with an academic supervisor and partner organization supervisor, co-designing projects to improve products, processes, or services. Mitacs provides professional development through online courses and the program aims to strengthen innovation capabilities while supporting work-integrated learning.
